What You Will Do

As a Retrofit Assessor working through Retrofit Talent, you'll complete detailed property assessments across ECO4, GBIS and SHDF projects, providing the evidence retrofit teams need to design safe, effective and compliant upgrade pathways.

You will:

  • Conduct domestic property assessments using RdSAP and PAS 2035 methodologies
  • Identify building condition risks, ventilation issues and suitability for measures
  • Capture clear photographic and technical data for Coordinators and Designers
  • Ensure data accuracy and documentation standards for PAS 2035 compliance
  • Represent Retrofit Talent professionally on every site visit

Typical Requirements

Essential

  • Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) with Retrofit Assessor certification
  • Experience assessing properties under PAS 2035 Pathway A, B or C
  • Accreditation with Elmhurst, Stroma or ECMK
  • Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
  • Access to RdSAP 10 software, survey tools and suitable equipment

Desirable

  • Experience delivering assessments for ECO4, GBIS or SHDF projects
  • Understanding of ventilation, moisture risk and building pathology
